Seeking a responsible individual to join our team of professionals in our Housekeeping Department on a Full-time basis. Must have a responsible work history.
Salary: $14.42 - $18.80 Depending on Experience.
On-Call pay is $2.00 per hour, with time and a half if called in.
Days, Monday - Friday - Rotating Saturdays - Rotating Sundays/Holidays - On Call
Education Required; GED/High School Equivalent
Due to chemicals used with this position applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Applicants must be able to read, as the position requires reading and understanding detailed instructions on chemicals related to cleaning. The work does also require finger/hand dexterity and eye hand coordination. 90% of the time, will be standing, walking stooping, bending and light lifting. Must be able to move up and down a step ladder at times working overhead.
There is a possible exposure to blood borne pathogens or other bodily fluids while fulfilling the requirements of this position. Standard precautionary measures are taken at all times. Will work in all areas of patient care, and may be required to wear specialized protective equipment.
Employer is seeking an applicant with a responsible work history.
Will work to provide a clean environment while complying with facility guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities will include thoroughly cleaning all areas of the facility, including but not limited to cleaning walls, floors, furnishings in public access areas, hallways, offices, patient care and procedure rooms,etc... This position does include cleaning up of a variety of messes directly related to patient care.
Saturdays are scheduled on a rotating basis. Sundays as well as Holidays are also rotating, and staffing is done on an On Call basis, and determined by daily patient census.
