Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics is proud to share that its Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) Program recently underwent a successful audit by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to ensure the program continues to meet all national standards for quality diabetes education and support.
The “Living Well with Diabetes” program serves individuals with Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes, offering personalized education provided by a Registered Nurse Diabetic Educator and a Certified Registered Dietitian. Topics include glucose monitoring, nutrition and carb counting, insulin use, pregnancy management, and more.
Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics takes great pride in the dedication of its staff, whose ongoing efforts ensure we meet the highest standards in programs like these. Their commitment allows us to continue providing vital services to the people in our care—our family, friends, and neighbors.
