This prestigious recognition celebrates Dr. Schaffer’s outstanding achievements in medicine, leadership, and service to the community.
Presented to a physician under the age of 40 or within the first eight years of professional practice after residency or fellowship, the Outstanding Young Physician Award highlights those who demonstrate exceptional dedication to both their community and the medical profession.
Dr. Schaffer, who serves as Chief of Staff at Mobridge Regional Hospital, exemplifies these qualities through his deep commitment to rural healthcare.
