Our Work

The built environment can help or hinder staff efforts to provide high quality patient care. We support improvements to buildings and equipment that remove barriers and allow the staff at Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics to maximize their time and effort. We are currently fundraising for a major renovation and expansion of our independent, nonprofit critical access hospital in Mobridge, SD.

Great care starts with great medical professionals, and there is a shortage of these community heros nationally. We work with Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics on medical staff recruitment to ensure our rural and frontier residents have an excellent care team right here in their backyard. We have been so fortunate in the wonderful individuals who have chosen to make north central South Dakota their home through this program.

A medical professional's education is never complete, especially when you are located at a critical access hospital located 100 miles away from a larger facility. Our medical staff are constantly learning and training so they are ready for whatever comes through our doors. Whether it's brushing up on the most recent medical research or learning new techniques, the Foundation pays for continuing education as well as for staff who want to work toward new credentials that further serve patients.

From Scrubs Camp to scholarships, the Foundation works to support local youth interested in exploring health care careers. We know that many of our best medical staff members were born and raised right here in rural South Dakota, and growing our own is a philosphy we take to heart.
