Pharmacy Technician
Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics – Mobridge, SD
Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics is seeking a motivated and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. We are open to both experienced technicians and candidates looking to begin a career in hospital pharmacy. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
This position is a great opportunity to work in a supportive hospital environment with hands-on experience in sterile and hazardous IV compounding, inpatient pharmacy operations, and medication preparation under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- No evenings, weekends, or holidays regularly required
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications
- Prepare sterile and hazardous IV admixtures using aseptic technique
- Maintain compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards
- Assist with medication inventory management and stocking
- Maintain accurate records and medication documentation
- Support daily pharmacy operations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and departmental policies at all times
Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician certification or registration not required upon hire
- Hospital or IV compounding experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow within the pharmacy department

Compensation
Pay is dependent on experience, certification status, and qualifications.
