Mobridge Regional Hospital has an opening for a full-time or part-time Nursing Assistant,
We are looking for someone with great people skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude to join our team and provide compassionate care to our patients.
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position works cooperatively with all levels of staff while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for patients, families, and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care (bathing, grooming, oral care, nutrition, mobility, and elimination)
- Take and record vital signs; report any abnormalities
- Assist nurses with treatments and daily care tasks
- Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and dignity
- Ensure patient rooms and work areas are clean, stocked, and safe
- Use proper infection control procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Operate basic medical equipment (e.g., lifts, vital sign machines)
- Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license (required for Home Health roles)
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills

- Maintain professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
- Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
- Support team members and contribute to a positive patient experience
